The Maritim Hotel, Berlin was the venue for the German Employer Day 2010 (Deutsche Arbeitgebertag 2010). I was asked for doing lighting design and focusing by Ingmar Hendrix @ cb.e Berlin. Like many event shows, this production was put in and programmed on the day before the show, meaning maximum impact was required from a huge amount of lighting equipment. The show was divided into 2 parts, an evening “come together” and an all-day conference including a live broadcast because of the appearance of the german chancellor Mrs Angela Merkel.

Unfortunatly there was no time to make any modifications on the lighting setup so it has to fit for these 2 purposes.

The set was coloured using Vari*Lite 3000 Spots because of its huge zoom, Robe 700 Spots for onstage purposes and lots of LED fixtures like LMPs PowerBar AT.

The columns in the hotel ballroom were uplight using coloured PAR 64 and the show was programmed and run by Tobias Broecking using a MA GrandMA fullsize I. Production was by TSE AG Berlin.
